  • Little Women: The Musical is playing at Players Circle Theater on McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers until Jan. 25.   • South County Regional Library reopened after a 14-month, $10 million renovation — celebrated with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Jan. 7 — in Estero. The library will host an event this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon featuring balloon animals, live steel drum music, face painting, crafts, and giveaways.  WGCU

  • Lee County is hosting its annual Tire Amnesty Day to clear discarded tires that breed mosquitoes. Residents may drop off up to eight on-road tires for free at the Mosquito Control District (15191 Homestead Road in Lehigh Acres) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17.  Beach Talk Radio
