  • Florida residents should prepare for a partial lunar eclipse on Aug. 27-28 and a total lunar eclipse on March 3 where the red phase may be seen briefly (as the moon sets early), while the Aug. 12 solar eclipse will not be visible locally.  The News-Press

  • Visitors flocked to the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade on Saturday, Feb. 21 in downtown Fort Myers—the route began at Fort Myers High School and moved north along Cleveland Avenue.  The News-Press
