- ➤ Dollar General said it will close 96 stores + 45 pOpshelf locations in the coming weeks, with six converting to Dollar General, even as the chain reported a 4.5% sales rise to $40.6 billion; the company has not confirmed if any Florida locations will be affected. The News-Press
