- ➤ Fort Myers Beach is getting ready for its St. Patrick's Day parade that is expected to cause traffic delays as Estero Boulevard will close from Santini Plaza to Sterling Avenue. The parade will start at 10 a.m. from Santini Plaza and finish at Sterling Avenue—residents and visitors are invited to join the celebration. WINK News
- ➤ Fort Myers Beach held an early St. Patrick's Day parade that returned after delays from COVID-19 and Hurricane Ian — over 40 floats and 300 participants marched along Estero Boulevard. The festivities ended with an after-parade party hosted by the Fort Myers Beach Woman's Club. WINK News

- ➤ Lee County health officials lifted nearly a dozen red tide health alerts for 20 beaches from Boca Grande Pass to Fort Myers Beach—marking an all-clear for many visitors—but health threats remain in parts of Collier and Charlotte counties.
