  • The Mucky Duck restaurant on Captiva Island reopened this weekend after more than a year of repairs following hurricane damage. It now features a brand-new kitchen and protective dunes (designed to guard against future storms).  Fox 4

  • Brad Pitt's Formula One film F1 won Best Sound at the Oscars on Sunday, March 15. The movie, filmed at Daytona and New Smyrna Beach, received four nominations and showcases Florida's racing heritage + its thriving film scene.  The News-Press
  • *4000 Miles* is a dramatic comedy about cyclist Leo and his aged 91 grandmother who bond when an unexpected visit changes their lives. It will play at Players Circle Theater starting March 17 with evening shows at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 3 p.m. as tickets cost $35 to $55.  Florida Weekly
