- ➤ STARability Foundation began its new bowling league at 810 Entertainment at Miromar Outlets in Estero on March 10—about 25 participants joined the league. - ➤ On March 8, 120 people joined a 5K walk at Florida Gulf Coast University to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps wounded veterans and their families by offering mental health, career counseling and long term rehabilitation services. - ➤ A man barricaded himself inside a south Fort Myers home in The Villas early Friday and flashed a gun—prompting SWAT deputies to use tear gas before taking him into custody with no injuries reported. NBC2
