- ➤ Due to a government shutdown and high spring break travel, TSA lines at Florida airports remain under 15 minutes at most locations including Southwest Florida International, though some sites report longer delays because many agents work without full pay+ travel experts expect improvements once pay is fully restored. - ➤ Fort Myers Beach’s Lynn Hall Memorial Park will be closed temporarily from April 6 while crews repair Hurricane Ian damage, but pedestrian access and restrooms remain open plus alternative parking is available at Bowditch Point Park on 50 Estero Boulevard for $2 per hour; work will finish early summer 2027.
