- ➤ Heavy rainfall has flooded roads in Lee County & filled low areas with water that attracts frogs, toads, and snakes. Residents are advised to remove standing water to reduce mosquito breeding that could increase in 5 to 7 days. WINK News

- ➤ Lee County Board of Commissioners approved a $290,580 project to prepare for dredging Blind Pass on Sanibel — this work will help restore tidal flow between Pine Island Sound and the Gulf. Preparatory measures are underway and dredging is planned for 2027 when conditions improve. ABC7
