- ➤ More than 150 anglers participated in the 29th annual LCEC Fishing Tournament held Saturday in Matlacha to benefit United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades. Over nearly three decades, the event has raised over $800,000 for local programs + community support. WINK News
- ➤ A local Navy veteran is biking across America to raise money for the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which helps first responders and veterans after 9/11. He will leave California on July 14 and ride to the Pentagon then to the 9/11 Memorial to honor their service. ABC7
