  • Cape Coral’s marine researcher Kylee Rullo-Soletti (a Ph.D. student at USF) has received a $5,000 fellowship from Florida Sea Grant’s Guy Harvey Fellowship to study forever chemicals in fish and sediments from Tampa Bay, aiming to assess potential health impacts on local communities.   • Firefighters are containing two wildfires in Collier County’s Everglades, with the Newman Fire 95% contained near Picayune State Forest and the Jetport Fire 75% contained near Alligator Alcatraz.
