  • Fort Myers Beach’s La Ola restaurant will rebuild after Hurricane Ian destroyed its building and forced it to operate in a shipping container on Estero Island—renderings of its future design were shared on Saturday. The restaurant has not yet announced when construction will begin.  NBC2

  • Fort Myers-based Partners in Care Foundation director Kathy Tolentino warns that a hoarse voice—along with a sore throat or trouble swallowing—may signal early laryngeal cancer, a disease that affects thousands annually.
