- ➤ Two Fort Myers men aged 25 and 26, Jacinto Lopez Sanchez and Domingo Rudy Velasco Ostuma, were sentenced to life in prison for stabbing a man outside a local nightclub on March 10—each received credit for 429 days served and were banned from contacting the victim's family. ABC7
- ➤ The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Alfonso Alexander Perez Nas on Figueroa Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Saturday after witnesses reported he violently threw a kitten—killing it—and later buried it in a shallow grave; he now faces charges of aggravated animal cruelty. WINK News
