- ➤ North Fort Myers man Jesse William Korff, 30, faces federal charges after officers attempted to detain him on May 20 and observed what looked like a bomb — a bulge with wires hanging from his pocket — as well as a firearm, loaded magazines, and other weapons; his prior 2015 conviction prohibits him from possessing guns. - ➤ A semi truck hit-and-run on May 18 at 8:20 a.m. in Cape Coral caused about $400,000 in damage by knocking down power poles and dragging vehicles—police have identified the suspect as an 18-wheeler with a yellow cab and white refrigerated trailer last seen on Burnt Store Road. Fox 4
