- ➤ Gulf Coast residents prepared for an active hurricane season from June 1 to November 30 when Gulf Coast Weather: Plan, Prepare & Protect aired Friday at 8 p.m. on Gulf Coast NBC, offering guidance on protecting families and property. ABC7
- ➤ Although the National Hurricane Center shows no tropical disturbances today, forecasters warn that warm Gulf waters could support early June development near Florida. The 2026 hurricane season starts June 1 — residents should prepare for changing conditions. The News-Press
