GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Lee County could restore the underused Civic Center at Mike Greenwell Regional Park for agricultural and civic events if bed tax revenue funds needed upgrades. A 2022 review certified the arena (65,000 sqft) as sound, and county leaders now must decide on practical repairs to support local gatherings.  The News-Press
