- ➤ Lee County is preparing for hurricane season after three hurricanes passed last year by opening a new Public Safety Center and teaming with a Hawaiian company to monitor tides + update residents on rising waters. - ➤ Lee County has issued a guide for residents to secure their yards during this active hurricane season by advising them to trim trees, thin foliage, and dispose of yard waste in brown paper bags only.
