- ➤ Human remains found by a construction worker while digging a line for FPL on Daniels Road in Naples on May 22 were sent for DNA testing by the Collier County Sheriff's Office—officials will compare the results with local missing persons cases. The News-Press

- ➤ Lee County’s half-penny sales tax has raised more than $643 million since its approval in 2018—$524 million of which was spent on school construction, maintenance, technology and safety—and will continue to fund capital projects until December 2028. Cape Coral Breeze
