Farm Share is giving out free hurricane kits at Next Level Church on Plantation Road near Crystal Drive as hurricane season nears, with each kit containing basic supplies & pet food.

The event starts at 9 a.m. today & families are advised to come early because lines tend to build up.

Three restaurants on Sanibel and Captiva islands reopened after Hurricane Ian closed them in September 2022—Keylime Bistro, Blue Giraffe, and Lazy Flamingo—while The Bubble Room is set to reopen in the coming weeks.

Keylime Bistro will hold its official grand opening at 4:30 p.m. June 27 as many locals welcome the return of these cherished dining spots.
