- ➤ Lee County Deputies went to a Fort Myers business along the 12000 block of Palm Beach Boulevard late Friday night to investigate an incident—deputies arrived around 9:30 p.m. and officers were seen talking to a woman outside. ABC7
- ➤ Authorities released a report in Lehigh Acres showing that parents are accused of neglecting their 12-year-old son to death by refusing to take him to a doctor because of their beliefs — video evidence and online searches raised questions on his health — and the parents, charged with homicidal negligence and aggravated child abuse, will appear in court on Monday. - ➤ A former Lee County deputy, arrested on suspicion of DUI, used his insider knowledge to push through three secure doors and escape from jail—officials are now reviewing the facility’s security procedures. WINK News
- ➤ Lee County Sheriff's Office responded at 11 p.m. Friday to a robbery at a business on Palm Beach Boulevard in Fort Myers + no one was injured, and the investigation remains active. ABC7

- ➤ The Arcade Theatre was built in 1915 by Fort Myers businessmen Harvie Heitman and his brother Gilmer to host vaudeville—its early shows included magic acts and plays before it showed movies in February 1917.
