- ➤ American Airlines announced a new nonstop flight service from RSW to PHX for the holiday season and will use a Boeing 737—flights will run daily from November 20 to December 3 and from December 18 to January 6, connecting Southwest Florida and Arizona. The News-Press

- ➤ Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects on Thursday morning after a robbery at Truist Bank near Page Fields Commons — the investigation now involves the FBI and ATF. WINK News
- ➤ The Lee County Sheriff's Office and Fort Myers Police Department arrested two suspects who attempted to flee a Truist Bank robbery near Page Field Commons in south Fort Myers+authorities located the suspects after a quick investigation. ABC7
- ➤ Two men were indicted for separate murders in Fort Myers; Yanko Romero faces charges including first-degree murder + attempted first-degree murder related to a June 8 shooting, and Ryan Cole was indicted for kidnapping, murder + rape in a 2021 case. Fox 4
- ➤ A 59-year-old Georgia man, Ronald B. Hatten, was arrested in Cape Coral after police say he used stolen identity to try to buy a 2023 Mercedes G-Wagon when a homeowner noticed a mistake on a driver’s license during a notary meeting — officers later found he had an outstanding warrant from Alabama and a Visa debit card in another person’s name as part of a larger fraud scheme. - ➤ Christopher Davis was sentenced to life in prison for murdering Barry Schmalbach—whose body remains missing as family, friends and law enforcement continue searching for his remains. Fox 4
- ➤ A man accused of murder in Fort Myers now faces formal charges after he beat his sleeping cellmate, Brandt Diaz, on June 10 at about 3:45 a.m.—the victim suffered a fractured skull and other injuries while Romero remains in Lee County Jail without bond. The News-Press
