ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A three-car crash on Cleveland Avenue—near Victoria and Edison Avenue on Sunday—halted traffic and left two people critically injured, with both individuals transported to a hospital while the traffic homicide unit began investigating. WINK News
- ➤ A fishing boat caught fire in Turtle Bay just before 10 a.m. Saturday, sending a large plume of smoke over the water; five emergency agencies responded to extinguish the flames and rescue two people who jumped from the vessel & one person was treated for minor burns. NBC2
- ➤ Fort Myers police responded to a serious traffic crash on US-41 Sunday evening that involved three vehicles, including one that rolled over, leaving one person critically injured, one issued a Trauma Alert, and two with minor injuries—roadways between Edison and Victoria were closed for an extended time. - ➤ On Sunday morning, the Lee County Sheriff's Office investigated the River Hall neighborhood on Angelica Drive near Alva—one person was taken into custody as patrol cars, helicopters and drones secured the area. ABC7
- ➤ On Friday morning the Cape Coral Caring Center’s food delivery truck and van were vandalized with explicit graffiti — volunteers cleaned the vehicles while the nonprofit filed a police report and plans to install extra cameras before hurricane season. WINK News
- ➤ The Collier County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for 5-year-old Jaylen Saintenlien who was last seen Saturday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. near Magnolia Pond Circle in Golden Gate wearing a blue shirt and diaper—authorities ask anyone with information to come forward. WINK News
