  • A 53-year-old man was attacked and robbed in Tice on Aug. 23 when he left a gas station after following a woman and three men to a home for drinks—officers later arrested Brian Wilson and Jose Dejesus, who face charges for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and robbery with a firearm after the victim was pistol-whipped, kicked, and hospitalized with a jaw injury, black eye, and ripped earrings.  ABC7
  • A male suspect is accused of a robbery where he tried to steal over $5,780 worth of supplies from Cape Coral Home Depot at 3:40 p.m. on Friday—he fled when asset protection confronted him—while Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers seeks tips.  WINK News
  • A Fort Myers farm manager admitted in federal court on Tuesday to orchestrating a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme—he filed false crop insurance and pandemic relief claims by deliberately under-farming his crops and generating over $4 million in fraudulent benefits.  ABC7
  • Fort Myers Police arrested 34-year-old Brodee McGalliard on Friday after a white Ford pickup hit a fence on Marsh Avenue at about 1:47 a.m. on Aug. 22—he fled into Billy Creek Preserve through thick mud, admitted he ran because he was on probation, and now faces charges including DUI, leaving the scene, and resisting without violence.  NBC2
