Gulf Coast News will update viewers on the wave’s progress during hurricane season.  ABC7
  • Families from Southwest Florida volunteered as citizen scientists to help FGCU study water quality around Estero Island on Saturday. The volunteers collected water samples to measure nitrogen and phosphorus — factors that may drive algae blooms and will be analyzed in the coming weeks.  Fox 4
