- ➤ Robert Rauschenberg changed the way local artists create art by using new techniques and teaming up with others. Gallery director Jade Dellinger said he lived in Fort Myers for over four decades and supported local art groups—his work brought global art trends to our community. WGCU
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Lee County School District received a $301,600 donation from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation — funds that will furnish on-site childcare centers, expand enrichment programs in math, reading, science and JROTC, provide teacher training and host a College Night to help students learn about postsecondary options. - ➤ On Monday, November 3rd at 10:00 a.m., the Fort Myers Beach Library will host a presentation on easy to grow flowering plants that help stem the decline of butterflies, bees, and other insects.
