- ➤ Florida regulators approved a four-year rate agreement with FPL that sets new customer rates effective January 1 — most residential bills will increase $2.50 while bills in Northwest Florida will slightly decrease. WINK News
- ➤ A report from the FHSMV shows 181 school bus crashes occurred in Lee County in 2024—Lee County Schools say that even one crash is too many. The district’s new Bus Patrol enforcement using AI cameras will begin on December 8—drivers caught speeding past stopped buses face a $225 fine after manual review. ABC7
- ➤ Lee County is offering a special deal on MEGAPASS tickets for the 2026 Southwest Florida Ag Expo — the expo will be held at Mike Greenwell Regional Park from Feb. 26 to March 8 and includes gate admission and unlimited rides for a day. The online sale begins on Black Friday through Cyber Monday with tickets priced at $25 before rising after Dec. 1. WINK News
