- ➤ Today, the Gulf Coast Storm Team is tracking a tropical wave over the Atlantic that has a 60% chance to become a tropical depression in the next seven days—down from a 90% chance forecast earlier. Forecasters note a 30% chance for it to organize in the next two days, and if it strengthens into a tropical storm, it will be named Gabrielle. ABC7
