- ➤ A tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic, known as Invest 97L, showed a 50% chance to develop over the next seven days and a 40% chance in the next 48 hours—meteorologists expect it to become a tropical depression by midweek and be named Lorenzo if it strengthens.
